Up at 05:30 to finish packing for our flight from Winnipeg to Montreal. Mike picked us up at 07:00. He is working for the coop this week so it worked out great since he will just take our car home at the end of the week. Arrived at the airport at 10:15 in lots of time for our now 30 min delayed flight. All week we have been trying to get St. Jean Honda to send us the Quebec vehicle safety. They don’t get it since in Quebec any vehicle under 1 yr old does not require a safety. So at this point we still don’t know if we will have insurance when we arrive!
We called St.Jean Honda from the airport and asked them to fax the safety(which they now have) to NorthStar Insurance. As we were boarding the plane NorthStar called and asked where to send the now approved insurance (they received the fax) and how many days did we want? We got 12 days of insurance. Arrived in the Montreal airport found Leslie at pillar 11 and she drove us to the dealership to pick up the car. Danik took several minutes of checking the office to find the fax with our temp registration and insurance. Found it and then Amy signed a lot of paper and we were off at dusk.
We arrived at Lesley and Astrid’s hippy cottage in East Stanbridge just as the sun went down, and ate our burgers and fry’s we had picked up at Barry’s Burgers in Bedford.
We plugged the car into 110v and had a full charge again by morning.
