May 10, 2023 East Stanbridge to Almonte/Mississippi Mills

 

Left Lesley’s at 8:30 to head to Almonte, picked up more coffee and discovered that iphone map navigator will tell you where chargers are along the way. Stopped in Hawksbury ON CanTire at noon for a charge and lunch. The ChargeHub app wouldn’t recognize this Flo charger, in fact it wasn’t on the ChargeHub map, the Apple map found it. So we put $20 on the  Flo app and the charge is a go! $17 for 54 mins. and a 92% charge and lunch at the employees smoking table behind the CanTire! As you may notice there are many apps and charger types to learn if you are going to tour with an EV!

We stopped to see the Montebello Resort on our way to Almonte. It is one impressive log building! With a few fireplaces!

We checked in to the Riverside in and had a rest then headed out to meet some old union colleagues for supper.

Car was on the 110 charger all night and got from 52% to 72% over night.
